This chic fundraiser took guests on a journey that captured the mystique of the East in a night of fashion and dining at the exclusive Granite Club in Toronto. The event raised $75,000 for the displaced children of Pakistan who were affected by the Oct 8, 2005 earthquake. The fundraiser not only highlighted DIL Canada's cause, but also shone light on the leading Pakistani designer, Hassan Shehryar Yasin, who romanced the guests with his seductive Eastern collection.

The evening sparkled in the presence of guests like His Excellency the Ambassador of Pakistan, the Council General of Pakistan, Stacy Sherman director of 'God Sleeps in Rwanda', Billy Ray a Hollywood director and representatives from Tiffany's, RBC and HSBC.
